give your room a great basic shape. While there is some debate over this, you will be close to the ideal home theater layout if you settle on a ratio of 1 to 1.6 to 1.7 and 2.3 to 2.4.
Furthermore, we advise you to avoid dimensions that are close to one another. It is a fact that even the best sound system cannot overcome the poor quality of the room. Remember to consider height risers if
you consider establishing seating in multiple rows. In other words, if you intend to use more than one row, keepfeet or higher.

3) Considerations for Placing Your Home Theater Screen
The screen wall for your screen or video display will typically be the short wall when designing your home theater layout. The main speakers will be roughly equidistant from the seats from left to right,
allowing you to sit in the center of the screen.
How you arrange your chairs will have an impact, especially in family rooms. Try to position the screen in the middle of the seating area. Also, in the case of television, consider that the speakers should be
placed so that they are evenly spaced apart on either side. Additionally, your fantastic home theater design will have a significant wow factor if you use a front projection system and can fill up the entire
front screen wall with the screen.
You should install a home theater in your bonus room above the garage. If we are correct, the space where the big screen should go is typically occupied mainly by a window. But the fun fact is that we devised
a workaround for this a decade ago. Removing a window is probably not a good idea because most of us are worried about the resale value (plus, it costs a fortune).
The window frame can be covered with white vinyl, using tiny tacks to secure it around the sides. This will completely block out the light from the window, allowing you to mount that large 120" screen
directly over it. You will not even notice that it is there, and from outside your house, the white vinyl will make it appear as though you have just drawn the blinds.
When they first became popular, many thought it would be cool to mount flat-panel TVs above the fireplace mantle. But according to the practice in our home theater design services, it will be best if you can
position your TV at eye level. This is because placing the TV at a higher level will not be an excellent setup for the muscles in your neck. Watching a two-hour movie or three-hour game will be much more
comfortable if the screen is at or near eye level with a comfortable viewing angle.

4) Best Home Theater Ambient Light and Wall Colors
When you last visited a commercial theater, chances are you noticed there were no windows and the walls and ceiling were not painted with light colors. Plan your space so that window light does not spill onto
your screen when decorating it. Consider using a blackout curtain or shade if you have windows. Additionally, heavy curtains frequently improve the acoustics!
It would be best to have dark walls and a ceiling in a room with a front projection movie screen. You do not want light from the screen to bounce back off the walls. This is because they will reflect light at
a reasonably wide angle. Dark gray is the best color, but no matter what you decide, use a flat or matte paint finish.
